Growing up as a little girl, I was always the belle of the ball. Ruffled dresses with lace trim, layers of petticoats stashed underneath, matching bloomies to wear over my undies, patent maryjanes…oh, the works. But if you would have told that little girl that one day, she could enjoy a perfect pair of denim just as much as getting dolled up, she would’ve told you to “go fly a kite!”
Now don’t get me wrong…I LIVE FOR GETTING DRESSED UP. But as I get older, the meaning of “dressed up” has changed with my lifestyle. I am learning to “wear what works,” and more often than not, what works is denim (the 5 year old version of me is squealing!). Finding the right pair of jeans that fit your body, transition into your wardrobe, and don’t break the bank, though, is key. You want a pair that can go from day errands to date night, from baseball games to the bar, from tennis shoes to Louboutins.
Speaking from hours of research spent in fitting rooms, I can confidently say that I have tried on every pair of denim that is out there….and I must admit, finding a perfect pair that fits, PLUS goes from day to night, PLUS is under $100, (PLUS let’s not forget makes my backside look perky!) is like finding a needle in a haystack…until now. Thank you to WHBM and their Saint Honore Jean Collection for coming to the rescue…..me, my sneakers, my high heels, my pocketbook, and my tush thank you. (Oh, and you tiny, petite gals…don’t you worry, they’ve got you covered, too!)
Ladies, I know I’m not alone in always being on the hunt for the perfect pair of jeans, so tell me, what do you look for when denim shopping?
