Black is boring.
But black on black on black on black in 4 different textures is anything but boring! Its kindof like monochromatic print mixing, right? (And we know I love me some print mixing…remember this?!)
The key to doing it monochromatically: Create 2 sets of similar textures or items that you would naturally wear together. Set one: Chunky sweater and sweater knit tights. Set two: Sequin skirt and leather booties. Now combine the 2 sets…and there ya have it. Simple enough, right?! Start with all black, and then for the brave souls…move into color. (An oxblood version would be kindof amazing.)

Absolutely love the textured tights! The skirt goes perfectly with a slouchy sweater, the perfect combination of comfy, stylish, and sexy!
Whenever I put booties on, I feel like I look funny, so I would try and pair the outfit with some black or leopard pumps, maybe a pair of boots!
I would pair this skirt with a deep blue flannel and some rockin boots for a more southern feel.

I have been on the hunt for a sequin skirt to add to my NYE wardrobe…I may have just met my match!
I like the outfit on you, but on me sequins are usually a no-go, so I can’t say how I would really style it for myself!
I would style the sequin skirt for a holiday party by adding a black faux leather peplum top, tights and some killer pumps since I’m short!
