It’s my birthday weekend.
I know what you are thinking…”a weekend?! You get a whole weekend?!”
And my answer to that is YES, YES I DO. And here’s why:
Growing up as a Christmas baby was never fun. And although my birthday isn’t technically on Christmas, its close enough that my special day would typically get lost amongst the decking of the halls, and the fa-la-la-la-la-ing, and the eggnog, and the caroling. So I would (read: still do) always have more than one celebration…just so everyone could stop for 2.393022 seconds from their Christmas insanity and rejoice in the fact that I was born. And 31 years later, I am still a birthday brat.

I would pair my holiday and or birthday sparkly outfit with mixed metal jewlery. I”m all about the mixed metals these days.
Well obvi the holidays are all about glitz and glam….so I love to pile on those baubles. I like to sparkle just like the New Years Eve Ball in Times Square….because even that is chic and ultra fab. Le Duh.

I absolutely love everything about this, especially the sunglasses and pink coat, which are so up my alley. I actually already have a darling pink winter coat, which I always get compliments on whenever I wear it. Cold winter days in Texas can be especially dreary (like today in SA!), so nothing is better to perk up your day than a hot pink coat!
