Happy Friday!

I want to start off by my offering my sincerest apologies for not posting any outfits for the last 2 weeks, as my life has been a bit wacky.  There’s been some traveling (what’s up, Atlanta?!), there’s been some new work projects that I can’t wait to share with y’all, and last but not least, there has been a lot of preparation for my upcoming trip to New York City for Fashion Week….and my, oh my, the packing is already giving me anxiety!

But despite my ridiculous schedule over the past 2 weeks, there has been one thing that has remained consistent: my basic uniform….and it has primarily been made up of leather pants and my favorite silk Equipment blouse.

My favorite part of adhering to a uniform like this is that you can change it at the drop of a hat.  One day you might pair these 2 basics with a black blazer and some sexy heels, while the next day they might go well layered under a chunky sweater and matched with some perfect flats.  Either way….these 2 simple staples are the perfect foundation to my wardrobe as of late….And on a particularly cold day this week, they paired wonderfully with my new leopard coat, a punch of pink accessories, and black combat boots….all to chic, and all to comfy.

What’s your basic uniform?

Hey gorg! First time visiting your site, and lemme just say how much I love your style. Let’s see, my latest basic uniform consist on denim+denim, black blazer and my lovely silver mesh rhinestone necklace from Zara (which I get tons of compliments everytime) and of course my perfect leopard flats. This outfit was put together as I was running late for a metting and it turned out to be one of those outfits that one feels so proud of craeating lol. I’ve been switching it up with different accessories. It’s both comfy and chic, and I LOVE how I can keep my heels or botties in my oversized bag if im planning on going out late night and Voilà!
