Colorblocking is a trend that has been around a while now…and while some of us dive right into this colorful sea, I know others of you are still a little timid when it comes to pairing 2 bold colors. So how do you break up the palette and avoid looking like a Crayola box?
The Answer: Leopard (Note: Leopard is always the right answer.)
I chose to mix teal and purple, which are 2 of my favorite jewel-tones during this time of year…but when I put it on…something was missing….I still needed to harness the look with a neutral. “But Courtney, are you saying leopard is a neutral?! Seriously?!”
Yes, my darlings, leopard is indeed considered a neutral, and in this case, it anchored the whole look. Leopard was the matchmaker…Leopard brought everything together.
See? I told you…Leopard is always the right answer.

What color nail polish are you wearing? Is it possible to start putting the nail polish brand and color with the list of items you are wearing? I’m always looking for new nail polish colors- it would be nice to know the brand and shade vs. trial and error on my part.
