Groundbreaking Florals

When Spring sprang, I made a vow to y’all that I wouldn’t wear black from head to toe.  And for the most part, that vow has been fairly simple.  But let’s just be honest: There are days that black is just, straight up, easy.  You feel skinny.  It all matches.  And its always chic.

But, I made a promise.  And my promise I will keep.

So what’s the easiest way to update the perfect LBD? Well, considering its springtime, florals are the obvious answer…(Remember the scene in “Devil Wears Prada?”…”Florals for spring? Groundbreaking.”)

I know, I know….its not the most original idea I’ve ever had….but let’s just think of it this way:  Black is to wintertime as florals are to springtime…aka the obvious choice.

Ps. Don’t forget that tonight at Neiman Marcus Willow Bend is Rebecca Minkoff personal appearance from 6-8pm! Come take at a look at her new collection and say hi!

How amazing is this look!? Funny thing is that I am going to dupe it myself! I have a Lauren Conrad blazer that is almost identical and those Prabal Gurung heels from the collab with Target! Yay!
