Bundled in a Bit of Red

Coat: ASOS, old (This year’s similar version); Swing Dress: ASOS, Boots: Zara; Beanie: H&M (Similar at ASOS, Similar at Nordstrom, Similar at Zappos); Gloves: C Wonder; Bag: Deux Lux (from OpenSky Collection with Possessionista!); Sunglasses: Chanel, old; Lips: Stila “Natasha”

Winter has officially arrived in Dallas, TX.  Ironically, it appeared on Christmas morning in the form of white snow….and ironically, I was not here to see it….because I was in New York City where the temperatures were warmer…and it wasnt snowing….ironically.

And of course, since the day I got back to Dallas…no snow, no sleet, no ice….nothing but sunny winter days.  I’m not complaining…but the opportunities for bundling up in my winter gear have been few and far between.

But in a rare moment this past weekend, I was able to cozy up in one favorite faux-fur trimmed coats, my new C Wonder gloves, and top it all off with leopard beanie and go for a stroll (clearly it wasn’t too cold for a sassy, bare leg!)

And yes, I know I am typically not an advocate of head to toe black outfits, BUT I think the pops of red and touch of leopard makes up for it, wouldn’t you agree?

What are your favorite winter accessories you use to jazz up an outfit?
