New York City: The Home of the Best Shopping in the World aka The Home of the Where VISA Thinks Courtney’s Credit Card Has Been Stolen.
Last week while in NYC for NYFW, I did my fair amount of shopping. Okay, I am lying. I FREAKING SHOPPED TILL I DROPPED. Any moment that wasn’t spent sitting at a fashion show or in a business meeting or eating (I need fuel to shop with enough vigor!), was spent wandering the streets of Soho, Midtown, and the Upper East Side shops. But it was my last day there that I really struck gold on 5th Avenue.
The day began so innocently: Fellow fashion blogger and dear friend Shannon Yoachum and I went to the Nanette Lepore show at Lincoln Park, then had a delicious Mexican lunch (sorry NYC, this is where Texas has you beat!), and then OUT OF NOWHERE, I am strutting the streets of NYC in leopard heels and shopping with as much determination as a contestant on “Supermarket Sweep.”
The next thing I know, I am loaded to the brim with bags and drunk on new clothes.
I really can’t explain it.
I don’t know what comes over me.
It’s an out of body experience, I think. (Are there support groups for this kind of behavior? If so, I’d really rather not know 
)
In other news, care to shop the ASOS New Arrivals with me?! (Online shopping is easier to justify….YOU CAN HIDE THE EVIDENCE!)

I love online shopping! Two clicks and it is suddenly at my door step. The only problem is when five packages arrive on the same day… oops. Note to self: space them out. easier to hide the evidence that way.

I don’t know, but I’d be in that support group with you for sure! They say the first step is admitting that we have a problem right? I’m sure like you, I hope they NEVER find a cure!
