As women, we wear multiple hats on any given day. In a 16-hour day beginning at 730am and lasting until 1130pm, I can go from television host, to radio host, to blogger, to friend, to daughter, to entrepreneur, to boss, to dog walker, to girlfriend….and generally, all of these roles happen in one outfit…which makes “the night before outfit planning session” even all the more important.
When standing in front of my closet and figuring out what I will wear the next morning, there are so many elements that go into planning. But one question that goes into my 16-hour outfit is always, “How can this outfit transition from day to night?” And once I answer that question, I know I have officially chosen the perfect look.
But making sure my closet is stacked with the perfect transitional pieces is something I have to do in advance, and that’s where Piperlime plays a big role. I can shop their site by item (denim, dresses, or outerwear), or I can shop by price range (their chic steals page is a curated page dedicated to being budget friendly), or I can shop their new 16-Hour Style page, which shares their best pieces that my closet needs for layering. And let’s not forget accessories, from flats to heels to totes and clutches, which is the icing on the styling cake!
How do style a look that must last you 16 hours?!
